Jonathan: Please let fate take its proper course. [large truck zooms by, wind knocks number from his hand into a pile of blowing trash on the sidewalk]
Jonathan: That was an accident! Write that down please?
Sara: I can't! That's a sign. Fate's telling us to back off.
Jonathan: If fate didn't want us to be together, then why did we meet tonight? Got you!
Sara: I don't know, it's not an exact science, it's a feeling.
Jonathan: What if you're wrong? Huh? What if it's all in our hands and you just walk away? No names, no phone numbers, what do you think's gonna happen? Do you think good ol' fate is gonna deliver my information to your doorstep?
Sara: You know, that's the best idea you've had all night.
Jonathan: What's the best idea?
Sara: [giving Jonathan a $5 bill] Here you go. Write your name and number down.
Jonathan: On this $5 bill?
Sara: Yeah, just do it. Jonathan: [writing down his name and phone number] You are a strange and interesting woman. [gives her the $5 bill]
Jonathan: Now what?
Sara: Wait there. [crosses the street and buys a roll of mints with the $5 bill]
Jonathan: Hey! What the hell was that?
Sara: Well, if that $5 bill makes its way back into my hands, I'll be able to call you, and when you hear my voice on the other end, then you'll believe in fate, won't you?
Jonathan: Hey! What about me?
Sara: What do you mean?
Jonathan: Well, we have to send something out in the universe with your name, don't we? I mean, that's the only fair thing.
Sara: That *is* the only fair thing. What have I got? Ooh, no, I have a really good idea. Jonathan: [looking at the band playing] That's a lot of tubas.
Sara: [holds up a book] See this book?
Jonathan: Yeah!
Sara: [opens the book] So, when I get home tonight, I'm gonna write my name and number in this book, and first thing tomorrow morning, I'll sell it to a used bookstore.
Jonathan: Which one? You're not gonna tell me, you're not gonna tell me? Why not?
Sara: Now every time you pass an old book store you're gonna have to go inside to see if it's there!

I believe..do you?

What the Winter Will Bring

you tell me to dress warm because you are taking me out for the day, the snow is lightly falling, it is a crisp saturday. we walk hand in hand, strolling down the street~you carry in your hand a closed bag, i ask you what is inside and i try to peek, you pull it away, smile and say "my dear you must wait and see" as you squeeze my hand~we come upon a park and an ice pond, i look at you incredulously and start giggling nervously. you open the bag as we sit on the nearby bench and pull out a pair of ice skates for us both. as we sit we put them on and look at you as I stand up wobbling, knowing neither of us have skated much~ you extend your hand to me and say "trust me I won't let you fall, I will catch you or be your cushion" and we both start laughing. I place my hand in yours trustingly as we step on the ice and skate around slowly.~I slowly let your hand go and move in front of you, a moment later i stumble and start to lose control, I start to fall and you catch me~ You lose balance in the process and fall, landing on your tush as I fall into your lap. We start laughing and I turn to look at you, our red rosey cheeks~ you kiss my lips gently and say " i told you i'd catch you if you fell"

We took a trip to Italy as part of our honeymoon
I showed you the sights, we tasted the food
We became part of the culture just you and me
I taught you some words so you could learn
How to say I love you-Ti Amo siempre
We held hands as we walked thru the streets
The country of love and passion
Surrounds us
We walked down this alley
Just the two of us it seemed
We embraced and kissed
So passionately
Until a photographer captured us
To keep this a memory
He showed us the photo he took unexpectedly
He said it was true love
It was all he could see
We thanked him graciously and took his card
We were to pick up our photo the following day
Here we have etched in our memory
Of a wonderful time we shared in Italy
On our wall the photo will stay
A reminder of our love that was destined to be.

The Game

Pittsburg, PA

watching him dress as he throws on his jersey
eager to go cheer on our team
sporting my hat and matching shirt
i yell "let's go honey we dont have time to kill"
we leave our place with smiles on our face
his sweatshirt wrapped around my waist
the short ride to the stadium exciting us both
signs everywhere saying "Philly's vs. Yankees"
the crowd going wild as we join in
clapping and cheering as our team wins!
drinking down our beers one by one
laughing and talking as we sit in the sun
the day goes by the hits never end
neck to neck the game- whose to win?
we look over at each other and smile
kissing quickly between batters
a day filled with beer, sun and hot dogs!
Knowing....he's the one
the game runs late, i pull on his sweatshirt
i breathe in deeply
his scent so close to me
I could not ask for anything more
it is just him and me
Having a blast..watching the game
Watching our Yankees!

Nights In White Satin...Days in Bliss

naked toes playing in the sand
our bodies relaxing on the beach blanket
our hands left entwined
a smile visible on our faces
as we lay together
hearts aglow
remembering thoughts of a
night ago
dressed in my white satin
and of the earlier intimate
morning shared
i feel myself blush
our love so strong
built on a solid foundation
living in a state of loving bliss
he squeezes my hand
then slowly releases it
i hear his feet dig into the sand
i open my eyes to look over at him
i laugh out loud at the wonderous site before me
his bright yellow trunks in a heap on the sand
i see his white cheeks flexing as he runs
to the crystal clear ocean water
my laughter roars out loud
for him to hear
he looks back with a teasing grin
he beckons me to him
jumping up in a fit of glee
i run to him quickly
he turns and grabs me as i jump in his arms
twirling us around
we stumble and fall down
the waves crashing on us
we pay no heed
he kisses me hungrily as i
feel him grow against me
my eyes sparkle and my face radiates
of love
he picks me up and carries me
into the water we go as he
slowly undresses me

Wedding Day-Mastercard Style

This is a true story about a recent wedding that took place at ClemsonUniversity.It was in the local newspaper and even Jay Leno mentioned it.
It was a huge wedding with about 300 guests.After the wedding at the reception, the groom got up on stage with a microphone to talk to the crowd. He said he wanted to thank everyone for coming, many from long distances, to support them at their wedding.He especially wanted to thank the bride's and his family and to thankhis new father-in-law for providing such a lavish reception.As a token of his deep appreciation he said he wanted to give everyonea special gift just from him.So taped to the bottom of everyone's chair, including the wedding party, was an envelope.He said this was his gift to everyone, and asked them to open their envelope.
Inside each manila envelope was an 8x10 glossy of his bride having sex with the best man.The groom had gotten suspicious of them weeks earlier and had hired aprivate detective to tail them. After standing there, just watching the guests' reactions for a coupleof minutes, he turned to the best man and said, "F--- you!".Then he turned to his bride and said, "F--- you!".Then he turned to the dumbfounded crowd and said, "I'm outta here."He had the marriage annulled first thing in the morning.While most people would have canceled the wedding immediately after finding out about the affair, this guy goes through with the charade as if nothing were wrong.His revenge...making the bride's parents pay over $32,000 for a 300 guest wedding and reception, and best of all, trashing the bride's and best man's reputations in front of 300 friends and family members.
