Life...

I have written many afterthoughts of Love and not so many of life. Some thoughts have flowed through my head lately while driving or painting and such. One is how lucky I am. Lucky to be alive, to have a wonderful family, friends and boyfriend.

Questions still arise in my head that make me wonder.... Why are humans so mean and full of animosity? Why is it so hard for people to smile instead of frown? Why is it so hard to smile back at someone whom has smiled at them instead of looking at them funny? Why is it so hard to be kind to someone or return a kind favor?

I do not understand why humans can not compromise and get a long. Why man has to be so consumed with hate, envy and spitefulness? It is so sad. Is it so hard to lend a helping hand? To smile at a stranger? Humans want to make the world a better place yet they make no effort. It will not change on its own. It's sad to also see that people feed off others bad fortune, problems, mistakes as if they are perfect themselves or better yet they are so miserable they wish it upon everyone else instead of trying to improve their own life.

It's sad how people try to destroy the happiness of other peoples lives, not knowing that they may cause a little turbulence but in the end you can not destroy happiness, especially if you do not know what happiness is yourself.

I try to be a positive person, it is not easy, but I do it. I surround myself with great positive friends and my family (families) and that helps. I try not to read the news because it is full of hate, murder, destruction. The human race is destroying itself. It is a scary thought. We do not need hurricanes, tornadoes or the such..humans do such a great job of destroying themselves without the added Mother Nature destruction.

Perhaps one day we will see some improvement before the end of the world. It is a scary thought to bring a child in to this world. A conversation that has come up in my life a few times with my wonderful man, however, we both think positive and believe that only good can come from having a child together and hope that they will help make the world a better place.

I wish Mother Teresa were still alive. She is a Saint. The world needs so many more like her. I pray all the time for people to change, to better themselves, even if it starts with a smile. A smile can do so much to brighten someone's day, even a strangers.

Is is so hard to care? There is a saying I follow "Always love your enemies, nothing annoys them so much." And kill them with kindness. It is something I have done quite a few times. It is a wonder how someone can loathe another person for no apparent reason. It can be quite comical as well, as long as noone is hurt. I think it also shows how ignorant a person is.

So should a person conceal their happiness for the sake of others?I have had to start a private family/friends webpage for my growing family and friends and my amazing mans' family as well due to others intrusion to try to ruin/snoop about our lives. It is a wonderful site and I think it is important to share our happiness and new events in our life with the ones who truly care about us. Near and far as they may be. I came up with the idea when a handful of our friends became engaged this past year and had their own private engagement/wedding websites which we will have as well. It also keeps out the wrong people which I thought was an excellent idea!

So I will continue to smile at all persons, friends, family, strangers..to make someones day by smiling. I will promise not to throw "the finger" while driving when idiots are on the road (which I have been doing great at) those pesky Mass. drivers.. lol I promise to volunteer and help out more to those that need it. I promise to try to make the world a better place, one person at a time. The world can learn from the movie "Pay it Forward." God Bless.

Soulmates - How You Know....& I have Mine!!!

What are Soul Mates and Twin Souls?
Soul Mates are souls we have met and lived with in many life times. They have been our lovers, spouses, mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, teachers, students, friends, and family, or even our enemies, victims, or tormenters. We contract with these souls to return to earth together for greater learning and growth.
Twin souls, also called Twin Flames or Twin Rays, are the other half of your soul. This is based on the belief that we are all parts of the Divine Being, God, All That Is, Source, Spirit, Creator. The Divine Being, in order to experience Its Self, divided into many souls, each in turn divided into many others and many others. The final splitting of the many neutrally gendered souls created male and female halves of a whole, the Twin Soul.
Soul Mates
We have many soul mates, the first larger splitting of souls. These souls resonate with us and there is a comfort in that recognition. We evolve and reincarnate with these souls through many lifetimes, learning lessons in our many unions and partings, you can say on some level we are all soul mates one with another, learning and growing together. Not all these lessons are loving or comforting as lessons in forgiveness and unconditional love are challenging. Sometimes we are the "victim", and sometimes we are the "darkness" that shows another soul their light. This is where freewill and choice comes into the "game", how we react or perceive our relationships. Someone can come into your life and cause you much pain and suffering, this is a soul contract between you to grow and evolve in love and forgiveness. This is one perception of karma, and one that will free you from the karmic cycle of "I kill you, now you kill me" type of karmic dance some souls are involved in for many lifetimes. You break the cycle by acting rather than reacting, by freeing the ego from the soul and learning to love and forgive even in suffering.
Our greatest joy and our greatest pain are both conceived in these soul mate relationships, our feelings intensified by our soul connections, whether for good or bad. You can often spot a soul mate or karmic relationship by "love at first site" or "revulsion at first site", depending upon the lessons you've contracted to learn from this soul.
One can live a lifetime in joy and harmony with a resonant soul mate, and this a beautiful, but rare gift.
Becoming "Whole" Before "Two" Becomes "One"
It is said that one does not meet their Twin Soul or Twin Flame until they have learned many lessons of love, loss and forgiveness through close Soul Mate relationships, that the heart is made resilient and strong through pain and loss, and must be so to face the intensity of being with the other half of their soul.
Many people who have met their Twin Soul had experienced a "Dark Night of the Soul", or a major spiritual transformation just prior to meeting, or upon meeting this soul. It's almost as if you need to be "emptied out" emotionally, spiritually and mentally as a test of your spirit. Meeting your "other half" can be a magical, maddening experience that opens your perceptions. Some experience an opening of their psychic awareness as their heart expands in this unbounded and unconditional love. The fact is, your life will not be the same, and whether you perceive this as a gift or a curse is the challenge of your soul's evolution. The Twin Soul connection is always a triad involving the Divine Spirit/All That Is, two people connected by soul, connected to God.
Before one can physically unite with their Twin Soul, one must do the conscious work of healing and becoming whole within their self. Twin Soul love cannot exist in a codependent, ego-based relationship, or from a perceived "need" that the other person will make you whole. Both must often face separations while they strengthen their own connection to Spirit and find their strength and purpose on their own.
Each half will find balance in their male/female, yin/yang before union. When both halves of the Soul become strong pillars on their own, have healed and resolved karmic ties in the present life, then they can unite to fulfill their Divine purpose, but the challenges do not end. There is an intensity that can be frightening when dealing with your mirror, your weaknesses and strengths magnified, unresolved issues and wounds painfully open to push you to further healing, or cause ego to run from the relationship in fear. It's important for Twin Souls to find their greater purpose, whether it's a task they will accomplish together, or alone, there will be work to be done.
Some Twin Souls do not unite physically here on Earth, and the relationship may last a lifetime on the spiritual level alone, while one or both may be living physically with another soul in karmic agreement. Some Twin Souls other halves are not even on the Earth plane at the same time and will offer guidance and comfort from beyond as a "guardian angel".
Psychic Connections and Synchronicity
Psychic and spiritual connection with your twin soul is intense and profound. Many experience a feeling of connection in a matrix of golden white threads of light, whether consciously or in a dream state. Some have strong psychic connection with their twin, feeling their thoughts embrace them mutually in an ecstatic place of comfort and bliss. You may feel your twin's pain and suffering in heart-wrenching anguish. My twin and I have experienced simultaneous nosebleeds and I can usually feel when he's having a sinus headache, as I personally don't experience these. I'm often awakened at 4:30AM with the warm feeling of his thoughts embracing me. I thought I was going mad at first until he confirmed that this coincided with the time he awoke in his own time zone miles away. Sometimes we have to ask if the pain we are feeling is ours or the other's.

Synchronicity plays an important part in twin soul meetings... I like to say that synchronicity is God's way of getting your attention. In my own experience, meeting my twin flame has been a constant source of amazement at the synchronicities and "coincidences" that many times feel like a coded message from the Divine. My twin was born in the same minuscule town and delivered by the same doctor as my dear friend of 25 years, though they had never met and are now both living in different towns miles away. Many experiences in our early lives parallel or mirror each other. We once came to possess the same book in the same week, a dear friend had given me a copy of Don Miguel Ruiz's "The Four Agreements" while my twin was buying the same book 700 miles away, neither of us had previously heard of the book. We use the same quirky expressions and have similar likes and dislikes. On the other hand, there are things we are complete opposites on, but like complimentary opposites we have mutually grown and learned from our differences.

11:11 and Twin Souls
One of the most intriguing messages of synchronicity I've experienced has to do with the numbers 11:11, I've since found it to be common in twin soul unions. When I first "met" my twin online, I was besieged with odd feelings of remembrance and unbelievable love. I was tortured by the fact that he was committed to another in this life, and questioned my feelings and sanity for thinking there could be anything but friendship in this relationship. I prayed for an answer. The next morning I overslept considerably, and woke to see the digital clock set at 11:11, I smiled at this for some reason... and thought it odd. That night, I was inexplicably booted from the computer at exactly 11:11. The next day, some documents I was working on at my office bore the date 11/11, it fairly jumped off of the page! I finally decided to do an Internet search on "11:11" feeling that this was perhaps a message. I was astounded by the first website and message I was to encounter. It was a site devoted to the spiritual phenomena of 11:11 and said in part:
"The appearance of 11:11 is an always beneficial act of Divine Intervention. It tells you that it is time to take a good look around you and see what is real and what is illusory. It's time to pierce the veils of illusion which keep us bound to an unreal world. You have been chosen, because you are ready, to step into a Greater Reality. To lead the way for others into a new way of living, into a Greater Love. To ascend from duality into Oneness. The 11:11 is the bridge between duality and Oneness. It is our pathway into the Unknown. " from Solara & the 11:11
This really blew my mind... I had not heard of the eleven-eleven thing or the concept of Twin Souls at the time, but I knew this was the message I was meant to receive. Since that time, whenever I'm in a time of doubt the eleven-eleven starts showing again with a vengeance! License plates, store signs, phone numbers, store receipts, and the ever present digital clock will draw my attention to the numbers, and I'm overwhelmed with a feeling of comfort and acceptance now.
In numerology, the numbers 11 and 22 are master numbers, numbers that have their own unique meanings before being broken down into 2 and 4 respectively. In numerology the number 11 is often considered the number of the "spiritual messenger", a number of spiritual illumination signifying a channel for the information between the "higher" and "lower", a connection between conscious and unconscious, heaven and earth, yin and yang, male and female. Two "ones" joined, that make the pillars to the heavenly gate. The vibration and message of "two into one" and "ones' into two", the power of "one" twice amplified ... this is a perfect symbol of the twin soul.
Many twin flames have experienced this phenomena of 11's in birthdates, numerology, dates of meeting and such, and constantly receive the same 11:11 messages. I believe it can only be a symbol of the greater work that twin souls have been united on this earth to do.
How Do You Know if You've Met Your Twin?
Meeting the "other half of your soul" is generally so life changing and profound that this question is unnecessary.... you just know. Twin souls will both recognize this extraordinary bond, whether they are evolved and whole enough to acknowledge and act upon it is another thing. Meeting with your twin soul brings about an internal spiritual revolution, a deeper connection and understanding of the Divine and the Universal Oneness, this is the greatest gift of knowing your twin. Twin soul love is not to be confused with an obsessive/compulsive disorder, it's not a desire to "possess" another, but truly a challenge to love unconditionally and without expectation, to be whole and complete within yourself before joining with the other whole and complete side of your soul. The longing and desire to be with your twin soul is intense, but through growth and perception can be seen as the greater longing to join with the Divine, and that is the true lesson, you are two halves of a much greater whole.
When you meet your twin, there will be no "game-playing" or manipulation, you will have the need to be transparently honest in your relationship and communication with one another. If there is karma from past lives to work out between you, it will be apparent and consciously worked out. If you or your twin is committed to another relationship, you will respect and honor that bond and realize the tests of unconditional love. Meeting your twin soul challenges you to grow spiritually, heal mentally, emotionally, physically, and to see beyond time, ego, and physical limitations. You will be driven with the desire to be the best manifestation of your soul on earth. This is not a relationship of hearts and flowers, but one that will be tested in fire and will endure beyond time and space.

~How I Knew He Was The ONE~

How I Knew He Was The One:

-On our first date, we met for breakfast, and neither wanted to leave each other (hours later) to carry on with our prior commitments.
-We talked on the phone for hours all the time and texted continuously while apart.
-On our second date, he cooked a most delicious dinner for me, was a perfect gentleman, and our second date lasted over 2 days. He took a day off of work and came with me for a day in Boston I had pre-planned.
-He wanted to introduce me to his family and friends as his girlfriend shortly after we met.
-He wanted to spend his free time with me instead of his friends.
- We have so many interests in common, athletic and non-athletic.
-He is a perfect gentleman; opens all doors for me and still does!
- We both come from close-knit, loving families.
- We have the same morals, ethics and outlook on life. He was as positive a person as I am.
- When I look into his eyes, I see a plethora of love, caring and admiration (for me)
- He stimulated(s) me intellectually, which is not easy to do.
- He makes me want to be a better person, as I do the same for him.
-We had a plethora of people telling us when we were out how perfect we looked for each other and that they wished they had the passion and affection we have for each other.
-I love him unconditionally, his my absolute soul mate, lover and best friend. Our strong love has pulled us through a few really hard times and only made us stronger & closer.
- He opened his heart to me and showed me the goodness he was made of
- Every time I look at him he takes my breath away
- Every time I kiss him my stomach is full of butterflies.
- He treats me like a princess everyday.
- I cannot picture my life without him in it

Have Faith!

Have Faith..
It’s the holiday season and I know it is tough for a lot of people during these times. It can be that they loathe the holidays, have no family, are not close with their family, do not like their family, or I guess their family can not like them, do not have enough money, and are depressed or just naturally miserable. Whatever the case may be, have some faith. I am very fortunate to have not one, but two amazing families that are very close. I am one of eight kids, actually nine with my foster sister whom I consider a real sister. It is an unusually large family and all kids are by the same two parents that are fortunately still together. That is almost unheard of. Although I do not plan on having quite that many children, I (we) do plan to a have few of them soon.
I love the holidays, the celebrations, the family gatherings, (which we barely have enough time to hit all the main ones!!) I love the laughter, joy, happiness that it causes. I love simply being with the people I love and whom love me. My friends are the greatest as well and I consider them family. We also have a fantabulous time no matter what we do, that is who we are. I love my other half, my true love, my man. He is a dream come true and I love spending every minute of every day we can together, he never wants me to leave nor I him to.
I want people who may not be as fortunate as me or others to have faith. It’s easy to be mean and criticize others we may not like or whom are less fortunate than we may be. I like to try to reach out and help them. Help give them faith that they can have what they need and someday what they want. Help them know that someone does care. I have seen too many children go without and I cry. One person can only give so much. I LOVE playing Santa Claus to these children like I use to with my parents. We were not rich when we were younger but we learned to make sacrifices and give to those that are less fortunate.
I just want to pass on some love and faith to all my readers young and old. (lol) I love the holidays and I hope I can pass on the cheer in any way I can to make anyone’s day brighter or more happy. I hope that others after reading this may do the same. It only takes one smile to brighten a person’s day. So instead of doing the typical rude “New England” thing and not smiling at strangers or grumbling at happy people, try smiling and passing along the cheer. It actually takes more energy and more out of a person to be negative and frown. I hope you all have a Merry Christmas and a Happy and Safe New Year. I will be busy with my man and our families as well as work, school prepping and many other plans! I love you all!!

What is internal beauty?

Everyone comments on people’s looks, appearances, dress. I happen to be a very secure woman. I love my body, the way I look, my business attire. I have to be honest, I was not always happy with my body but what teenager (at the time) is not?
By the time I was 18 years old I fully accepted my body and understood I was meant to be 5’6”, slim-athletic (I was always busy with sports) and not have huge breasts. Back at that time that was the “in thing”. I am so glad that I never wanted to make myself fake in anyway and to this day I am not fake in anyway. I have my real hair color, nails, boobs- 100% real and I couldn’t be happier.
Too many people focus in on external beauty and not internal beauty. I know I have the external and internal beauty. I know this because my friends, family, acquaintances and people positively affected by me let me know. In the past and in the near future again I have mentored and tutored high school students at an alternative high school. It was so sad to see and I welcomed the thought of helping at least one child, I ended up helping many and myself at the same time. I love volunteering and helping people. I donate to the less fortunate even if at the time it is not in my budget. I have two hands, one for helping myself and one hand for helping others. The beauty of a woman is not in what she wears, the figure that she carries; the beauty of a woman is seen in her eyes, that is the doorway to her heart, the place where love resides. Love makes internal beauty. Sacrifice makes internal beauty. Caring makes internal beauty.
The true beauty of a woman is reflected in her soul. It is the caring that she lovingly gives and passion she shows.
I know that each time a friend or family member needs me I am always there, through thick and thin, better or worse. I know I am reliable to my friends. I am brutally honest and will never lie. That is part of internal beauty. I have respect for myself and respect for others. I have a heart of gold.
I have the most magnificent man in my life who tells me everyday what a beautiful woman I am, inside and out. I have his support in my decisions; I have his love, loyalty and heart as he has mine. I am the luckiest woman alive because I have the best man in my life. He loves me, he wakes up with me everyday, he tells me how much he loves me a million times a day as I tell him the same in return.
My heart of gold, my amazing man, my friends and family all help me retain the internal beauty I behold. Without them it can be compromised. I strive to fill my life with positive happy people. I am blessed to have his family so close to me; they are all wonderful, beautiful people as myself. I love them all as well as all of his friends. They are wonderful and I love hanging out with them. I am also blessed to have such a wonderful huge family that is wonderful and beautiful! My life is rich. Rich in love, happiness, and fortitude for when I need it, and positive, beautiful people. Not many people can say the same. I am truly blessed. Blessed with two families and one of my own one day soon. xoxoxo
